High level Inter-Ministerial coordination meeting between Minister of State Administration, H.E. Jorge da C. Teme with its counterparts Secretary of State of Political for Professional training and Employment Policy, H.E. Ilidio Ximenes da Costa, Thursday (07/03). The main objective of this high level inter-ministerial coordination meeting is to discuss about the Timor Leste community development project which has been conclusively integrated into National Village (rural community) development program that has been synonymously well known for its acronym as PNDS (Programa Nasional Desenvolvimento Suku).

The V constitutional government through its established inter-ministerial technical working group (GTTIM- Grupo Trabalho Tekniku Inter-ministerial) have had undertaken the PNDS preparatory activities to oversee the recruitment of 200 technician across the 13 districts to undertake the technical training for the duration of 8 months in Tibar training centre. The referred training delivery schedule will be conducted commencing on the 15 March 2013 until the 11 November 2013. During the course of the meeting, State Administration Minister informing the Secretary of State SEPFOPE to extend its  assistance to  MAE (Ministerio Administração Estatal) which will be carried out through the close cooperation amongst the GTTIM with Tibar training centre along with SEPFOPE technical expertise. As referred to the government resolution number 1/2012, which has been officially approved the national mechanism to speed up the Timor Leste community development project, transforming it into National village development program (PNDS). 

When the referred program was officially launched by H.E. President of the Republic along side H.E. Prime Minister of RDTL on the 2nd of June 2012.

MAE was requesting SEPFOPE assistance to provide the training centre facilities because the duration of training to be carried out will be taken a considerate amount of time period and there is no such other training centre located in Dili which could be used as the training facilities to accommodate the training needs for the referred 200 trainee technician. The referred training provided will be corresponding to the labour market needs, and those who are competently qualified with higher mark will be recruited and offered a place to become civil service public servant. 
 MAE informed that the training is crucially important as those who are graduated will be recruited to become long lasting civil service public servant. MAE policy as devised is in line with SEPFOPE policy objective to help find a better solution for those who are looking for works.
